From 7-hour journeys to immersive 2-day experiences, we have filled these tours with UTV or ATV adventures, hiking, fishing, and kayaking—taking you far beyond the usual routes into remote landscapes few ever get to see.
ACT Experience
Available: ca. 1. July – 15. October. Book minimum 2 days in advance

Want to experience some of the views and trails from the Arctic Circle Trail? This overnight backcountry trip combines hiking and UTV travel for a total of approximately 16 km on foot through Sisimiut’s dramatic wilderness.
The journey begins with a UTV ride from Sisimiut up to a scenic viewpoint, offering wide views over the surrounding landscape. From here, the group continues on foot with an 8 km hike into the backcountry, moving through varied terrain toward the First Fjord area.
The hike leads to a campsite located close to the First Fjord lake, where the group sets up tents together in a remote and peaceful setting. Once camp is established, there is time to enjoy the surroundings, with opportunities to fish in both the fjord and the nearby lake. The night is spent in tents under the Arctic sky.
The following morning begins with breakfast in camp before packing up and hiking back toward the UTV. The route includes a final steep ascent to the top of “Murder Hill,” where the group is rewarded with wide views over the surrounding fjords and mountains.
The adventure ends with a UTV ride back to Sisimiut.
Kayak in the backcountry

The experience begins with a UTV drive from Sisimiut into the backcountry toward First Fjord. Upon arrival, the group takes a short break with a quick snack while preparing and packing the kayaks for the journey ahead.
From here, the adventure continues on the water with a guided kayak trip through First Fjord. You paddle through calm Arctic waters surrounded by dramatic mountains, passing remote private huts and taking in the wide, untouched scenery of the fjord system.
Halfway through the journey, the group stops for a simple lunch break in a scenic location before continuing the paddle back toward the starting point.
After returning to shore, the kayaks are packed down and the group travels back to Sisimiut by UTV, ending the experience.
Fishing in First fjord

Our UTV adventure begins with a drive up towards Solbakken, Sisimiut’s popular ski slope. We continue through Flaskehalsen and out to Udsigten, a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the town and surrounding landscape.
After the drive to the 1st Fjord, we go fishing in the calm waters surrounded by dramatic Arctic scenery. A light snack and warm drinks will be served during the experience.
We then prepare and cook the fish together in the backcountry over a simple outdoor setup, enjoying a shared meal in nature before returning to town by UTV.
UFO Overnight

Join us on this genuine arctic adventure in the wilderness. We will walk through the vast landscape to the UFO resembling cabin where we sleep over.
We will start this 12 km hike by walking from the dogs town and head through a valley. Further north we will begin our ascent to the flat top of the hill and straight to the cabin. Inside we will prepare our dinner and have time to relax and take photos of the first fjord and the spectacular nature around us.
After a night in a sleeping bag, we will prepare a good breakfast and make our way back to the city
