Ice fishing has been a big part of life in Greenland during the long winters for hundreds of years. Put your warmest clothes on and take part in this old traditional way of hunting for food in Aasiaat.

Prepare for your ice fishing trip
Walking on the sea ice can be dangerous. Never walk outside the track made by the guide and follow the instructions carefully.
Wearing warm clothes and several layers are essential. And be aware: You might actually catch something, since fish life around Aasiaat is very rich also during winter.
