Primary Responsibilities
As a Hotel Assistant, you will have a full-time position with diverse tasks both at the hotel and in the cafeteria. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Cafeteria
    Handling cash, order processing, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness in the cafeteria. Grill shifts, preparation and serving of grilled food, followed by cleaning and self-inspection. Opportunity to take on the role of team leader, ensuring quality control, and monitoring operations in the cafeteria and at the grill.
  • Restaurant
    Service to our guests in our restaurant, taking orders, handling payments.
  • Administration
    Handling internal activities, reception, ordering beverages and cigarettes, updating social media, responding to emails, and general administrative tasks.
  • Coordination
    Acting as a deputy for the hotel manager in their absence in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Practical Tasks
    Handling deliveries, snow removal, general cleanup, fetching and delivering food, transporting guests, and routine maintenance of our facilities.
  • Conference and Tourism
    Acting as a conference host and occasionally guiding simple tourist trips.

Qualifications
Professional:
Strong skills in Danish and English.
Valid driver’s license.
Educational background (vocational or high school education).
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Previous experience in the service industry is an advantage.

Personal:
Acknowledging, open, and honest.
Excellent teamwork and relationship-building skills.
Positive role model with personal Christian values.
Strong organizational skills, ability to delegate, and take initiative.

Work Environment

  • Varied shift work including day and evening shifts, scheduled at least 14 days in advance.
  • Work on weekends and holidays is expected.
  • Expected average working hours of approximately 40 hours per week, but flexibility is required.
